Additionally, there are many entrepreneurs that can add value through bringing innovative solutions to market provided they find the right resources and leverage to do so. Capital, expertise, and a network in the healthcare sector are crucial, combined with a focus on societal and human impact/return. In short, a mix of prerequisites that are difficult to find.
Carevest investment fund as a lever
CM health fund and In4Care join forces in a new investment fund 'Carevest'. Financial resources, expertise, experience, and a strong network are brought together and offered to promising companies. Entrepreneurs not only require capital: research shows that there is also a need for expertise and a network in the sector in which they are active. In particular to test, implement, and scale their innovative solutions in the healthcare sector, collaboration and decisive support can make a difference. This is what Carevest will offer.

CM
is the largest health fund in Flanders having over 4.5 million members. Many know CM primarily as a payer of medical expenses. However, the health fund is more than just an insurance organization. CM also offers its members a comprehensive package of services and benefits and is a dynamic social movement and social entrepreneur. With a broad vision on health, CM aims to address new health-related questions. Therefore, CM initiates projects on both the Flemish and provincial levels as a social entrepreneur. To realize these projects, CM not only deploys financial resources but also knowledge and expertise, with the aim to increase the success rates of partners' projects.
